Bathing in Blue

The oval pool in this bathhouse near Vichy, magically lit by generous stained-glass windows, falls into serene tranquility. The kaleidoscope of shades of blue, which created an ambience of calm for centuries, after four decades of being untouched, offers only the appearance of fading faded concrete and slowly fading patterns in the floors.
