Hidden in the green forest

Hidden in the green forests, a story unfolds in which history and nature merge at their own pace. Deep in a Swedish forest, hundreds of abandoned cars stand rotting and half dismantled. Moss covers the dents and creases, and trees grow through engines and roofs. What once was a bustling business has since the 1980s become a quiet witness to neglect and rebirth. The junkyard began in the 1960s as an entrepreneurial venture: two brothers bought cars, removed usable parts, and sold them in Norway. Now, decades later, the remnants lie scattered among the trees as a work of art of nature. It is a poetic reality in which past and surroundings touch each other, while roots and moss gradually erase the boundary between human and world.
