Project Description
In the Scottish Silence
In the enchanting landscape of Scotland rests an old boat, abandoned but not forgotten.
The ship, known as the ‘Golden Harvest,’ was built in 1975. For many years, this 26-meter-long fishing vessel braved the rough waters of the North Sea. After adventures ranging from Scotland to Northern Ireland, it returned to Scotland in the early 2000s with plans for a new life as a floating restaurant. Sadly, these plans never came to fruition.
In 2011 a fierce storm broke the chain anchoring the ship, causing the Golden Harvest to wash ashore. Since then, it has rested on the beach, an iconic symbol of history and hardship, captured in all its rusty splendor.
